Most people think they struggle with healthy eating because they lack discipline.

Usually that’s not the real problem.

The real problem is decision fatigue.

Every day people ask themselves:

  • What should I eat?

  • Is this healthy?

  • Should I meal prep?

  • Should I track calories?

  • What workout should I do?

After enough decisions, people default to convenience.

That’s why complicated plans usually fail for busy people.

Not because they don’t work.

Because they require too much thinking.

One of the easiest ways to make healthy eating more sustainable is to reduce the number of food decisions you make every week.

Here’s a simple example:

Instead of creating a different breakfast every morning, choose 1–2 default breakfasts and repeat them.

Examples:

  • Greek yogurt + berries

  • Eggs + toast

  • Protein shake + fruit

Simple.
Fast.
Repeatable.

This reduces friction dramatically.

The same principle applies to lunches, workouts, and grocery shopping.

The goal is not perfection.

The goal is making consistency easier.

Over the next few emails, I’ll show you more ways to simplify healthy eating without meal prep, calorie tracking, or spending hours planning everything.
